Level 1 Trainings

An Interactive IFS Group incorporates IFS and capacities into an interpersonal process group. Group members work on their relationships with each other with honesty and vulnerability. They learn how to speak for their parts and how to practice assertiveness, sensitivity, and other capacities. They become open and deeply connected, leading to inner transformation.

In this course, you are trained in how to lead an Interactive IFS Group. This includes didactic presentations about principles and techniques of group leading including a new comprehensive model for how these groups operate and lead to inner transformation. The training group also functions as an Interactive IFS Group, so you experience what it is like to be a member of this kind of group. We reflect on what happened in the group, how it was led, and the interventions used. You relate your personal experience to the Interactive model.

The training is limited to 8 people, so you have a first-hand opportunity to do personal group work with Jay.

Since Interactive IFS Groups can be either therapy groups or personal growth groups, you don't have to be a therapist to take this training.

Jay: I have been leading Interactive Groups for 40 years. I wrote Interactive Group Therapy 25 years ago. I am writing a new book which incorporates IFS and many other innovations into a new model of Interactive IFS Group work. You will receive this material as I develop it.

The next trainings will be in May. Fill out this questionnaire to get on the waiting list.
