Interactive IFS Groups

Laboratories for Relating

In an Interactive IFS Group, people learn to relate from honesty, vulnerability, strength, and love.
They bond deeply like a healthy family.

IFS makes this group work powerful, user friendly, and non-pathologizing.

Mission Statement

Jay Earley has been leading Interactive Groups for 45 years. Now, at the Interactive Group Institute, our mission is twofold:

Creating innovation in Interactive Groups to make them even more effective and transformational. This group work is not only a powerful method of personal growth; it is also a transformative way of relating to others. We want to power the spread of these amazing groups throughout the world, to help take our culture to its next stage of social evolution.

We train mental health professionals with the wisdom of Internal Family Systems integrated with the dynamic power of Interactive Groups. We envision a thriving, worldwide network of Interactive IFS Group leaders, all connected by their shared passion for this work and supported by cutting-edge resources and ongoing mentorship.

Diversity Statement

Interactive Groups are a powerful place to heal relational and collective wounds. This includes healing the wounds of exclusion, bias, and systemic oppression. We are dedicated to facilitating constructive dialogue, and maintaining emotionally safe environments for all participants, including all nationalities, ethnicities, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, and/or cultural backgrounds. We welcome and encourage group members to bring up issues related to identity.  We value diversity of all kinds and are gradually working toward having greater diversity in our groups, trainings, and leaders.
